Four Looks for Fall/Winter 2015 by sexypinsharpflawless featuring nude wedge sandals
1. Monochrome. Lately I've relly been into monochrome all beige kind of romantic clean ensembles because I've been watching far too many late 80s and early 90s chick flicks. This is a play on that look with a bit of a 70s boho vibe added in for good measure. I'd wear this outfit on days where I want to feel like its the beginning of a Woody Allen film in which I'm a mysterious romantic creature that loves reading books and having picnics alone in my neighborhood park and I have an attractive admirerer just working up his nerve to talk to me. But it can also work as a casual weekend look to do all your whimsical activities in such as going to the farmers market, vintage furniture shopping, going to a book bazar and of course brunch with the girls.
2. Forties Lady. I don't know about yall but these past few months I feel like my pinterest vintage feed has been vomitting forties inspired lady-like looks (probably as a reaction to the 60s and 70s virus thats been going around?). Anyway, I'm down. Or I wish I was down because lets be honest here, this is more of an aspirational look for me. Being 22, there is no place or event really to wear this look without feeling like Im playing dress up (more than usual anyway). But if I had a braver soul, this would be an excellent work to evening drinks/date transition look. Could also work for a casual fall theme dinner party. Isnt the dress gorgeous? Can u belive its $34?
3. Cool Mod. High on my fall wishlist is a mod dress. This one is valentino so its just a little bit out of my price range. But, I shall browse on because really what says I'm fun, fashionable, and cool more than a mod look? Very few things I'll tell you that. Case in point: Alexa Chung who dresses almost exclusively like she is a cool teenager it girl growing up in the 60s. I rest my case. I'd wear this on a daytime date because its slightly sexy but mostly cheeky. You can also swap out the heels for pointy flats for a more casual event such as a daytime outing with the girls.
4. Romantic Goth. A nod to the Victorian trend, the Goth trend, and quite a few Dolce & Gabana collections, this look just screams I'm a grown ass sensual woman who can hold fascinating converstions and can tell a bad wine from a good wine. Another great work to evening date look. Switching the boots to sky high heels will make you lose some mobility but it can make for a great party/dinner party look.
Which would you wear?
